| LIVE on the Plaza: An Evening with the District
September 12th, 2008 5-11 PM
If you haven’t made it out to the monthly second Friday events in the Plaza District, you are missing out! Each month local artists, musicians, performers, and market vendors gather throughout the Plaza District for an evening of art, music, shopping, and social fun! Each month has a highlighted event, and this summer LIVE on the Plaza hosted two deadCENTER films, a “ReFashion Show” and a kids art show “Creative Circus”. Live music gathers crowds outside DNA Galleries while DJ’s and local artist’s market outside of Plaza Java. Future events include “Evening with the District”, shows at music venue Convergence Collective, and much more. Please stop by LIVE on the Plaza on September 12 for the “Evening with the District” to meet all the folks involved in the Plaza District Association and the neighbors, businesses, organizations and individuals who strive to help the Plaza District reemerge as a vital district in Oklahoma City.
